The National Engineering & Construction Recruitment Exhibition Friday 27 & Saturday 28 April 2012 – FREE ENTRY

This month, the UK’s largest engineering recruitment event will take place at the NEC, Birmingham, where engineering professionals can meet face-to-face with a range of leading employers to discuss available roles across the engineering sector. Companies recruiting at the exhibition will include Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems, Siemens, GE Energy, Eaton Aerospace, Amec, Jaguar Land Rover, Dyson, Expro North Sea, Assystem, MG Motors, JCB, Air Products, Goodrich Eceps and James Walker & Co., amongst others.

As well as the chance to meet leading employers face-to-face, visitors will find a variety of advice features at the event, including expert career guidance from Winchester Consulting, Interview Workshops and one-to-one CV Assessments.

There will also be presentations by major engineering employers on their current projects and job opportunities, and at the Professional Development Hub the Engineering Council and leading professional institutions will be able to offer advice on professional development and institution membership. The Women in Engineering Forum will take place on Friday 27 April at midday offering an inspirational seminar for female engineers and networking lunch. TRS is currently at various stages of working with over 40 universities; others are expected to participate and promote TRS throughout 2013.

TRS has a growing network of employers who will progressively be using TRS to advertise their graduate and internship vacancies to view and apply for.


TRS is a new industry approach to working with UK Further Education Colleges and employers to support and promote the recruitment and retention of skilled people into UK advanced manufacturing and engineering (AME) jobs.
